DIY-Ghost Painting
This is a fun and easy project to add subtle ghost or halloween deco to your home!
Step 1: Find a painting! Thrift stores are great for this! I found the one in the photo on clearance at Target.
Step 2: Paint the ghost bodies! A great way to get an outline and plan the scale of your ghosts is by using white chalk. You can easily make alterations and eventually paint right over it. You can make your ghost as opaque or as transluscent as you want by adjusting the thickness of paint you put on your brush.
Step 3: Paint the eyes & details! Use black pain to paint in the eyes. If you want to make little folds/waves in the “sheets,” mix a little black and white paint together and use a small brush with a fine tip.

Bookcase Update
We badly needed to update our bookcase to something more modern that also has some lift! We have floor air vents, so this bookcase allows us to still use the space without blocking airflow from the vent underneath. This bookcase perfectly fits our natural modern style. It’s available is other wood stains, has sturdy and deep shelves, and great storage space in the cabinets!
